Social Events

The FULL Conference fee includes both the Harbour Cruise and the Conference Dinner. The STANDARD Conference fees do not include Harbour Cruise or Dinner. Additional tickets to either can be purchased. The Harbour Cruise and Dinner prices do not include drinks, which will be on a cash bar basis.

Welcoming Cocktails: (Sunday, 11 December 2005). Registration will take place at UTS from 4:00pm on Sunday. A welcoming cocktail function, to which both delegates and partners are invited at no extra charge, will be held at UTS from 6:00 – 8:00pm that evening.

Harbour Cruise: (Monday, 12 December 2005) – we will depart from Darling Harbour (a short walk from UTS) at 6:00pm and enjoy a wonderful cruise around beautiful Sydney Harbour, returning about 10:00pm.Fiesta is a classic wooden boat - maintained to the highest standards. It is fully carpeted, has two levels indoors and two levels of wonderful viewing areas outside. The cruise will include delicious finger food. See Fiesta Cruises.

Conference Dinner – a Chinese Banquet (Tuesday, 13 December 2005)   Sydney’s Marigold Restaurant offers the finest Chinese seafood and meals with authentic Cantonese flavour. Again, a short walk from UTS and all the hotels, we’ll be in the heart of Chinatown, a private room, with conviviality and maybe some surprise entertainment. See Marigold.
